Dufferin Aggregates to Hold Public Information Centre Regarding its Operations in Paris, Ontario

Company is committed to providing the community with regular updates and facts 

PARIS, ONTARIO (June 26, 2012) – As part of its commitment to working with the local community and to proceed in a transparent and open manner, Dufferin Aggregates, a division of Holcim (Canada) Inc. will hold a public info session on Wednesday, July 4 at the Paris Fair Grounds, 7:00 – 9:00PM. This forum will provide community members and other interested parties with an update on the planned operations at the Paris, Ontario site as well as hear feedback and concerns from members of the community. Company representatives will be on site to provide information and answer questions about topics of interest including water and transportation. 

“Dufferin Aggregates intends to be a committed member of the Paris community, and that starts with active listening,” says Andrea Bourrie, Director of Planning and Regulatory Affairs at Holcim Canada. “We are proud to be a part of this community and we look forward to building a lasting and open relationship. We want the Paris community to have the facts about aggregate extraction and how our operations will be based on ‘today’s standards’. We feel it is important for members of the community to hear the facts and from there, form their opinion about our Paris operation.” 

The meeting will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and is open to anyone who wants to learn more about the Paris site and its operations.
